TEAM JOHNSON won the annual Spring Ladies Member/Guest Team Tourney on May 14.Captained by Great Hills top ladies player Fran Johnson, TEAM JOHNSON took the day with 65 games.TEAM MILLER came in second with 56 games, followed by TEAM GONDRAN in third place, and TEAM SWENSON bringing home fourth place with 46 games. Team members were Fran Johnson, Captain; Monica Shields, Celia Fryar, Barbara McGary, Brenda Bernal, Laurie Mertens, Jennifer Lloyd, and Anna Breed.

SPRING WEDNESDAY NIGHT
MIXED DOUBLES SEASON ENDS


The end of the Spring 2008 Wednesday Night Mixed Doubles season was celebrated May 21st with competition and prizes. 

Anna Breed and Gary Lloyd each won prizes in the Serving Challenge.  Venkat Venkataraman and Jan Achilles were the last remaining challengers battling in the Team Singles Challenge, with Venkat’s winning shot cinching first place for him and his teammates Chris Wilkins, Anna Breed, and Gary Lloyd.

The Fall Season of Wednesday Night Mixed Doubles will begin in September.
